About Us/ quienes somos

We are a small family team: Mom writes, Dad designs, and Baby is our number one customer and focus group. We are a bilingual family: Dad grew up speaking Spanish in Ecuador and learned English as a child. Mom grew up surrounded by Spanish in California but only learned to really speak it as an adult. We wanted to raise our child to speak both languages perfectly, not only so she could communicate with her entire family but also to lay the foundation to learn and speak other languages and enrich her understanding of the world around her. We started reading bilingual books to her at just a couple of months old, and she started speaking early in both languages. We incorporate many of the elements of her favorite books and those that are the most effective to teach language and pair them with engaging photography and original artwork from artists we love.
